AllSmash is a hypothetical weekend-long Super Smash Brothers Tournament taking place in Topeka, Kansas.

 

AllSmash aims to provide a tournament experience unlike any other, making opportunity the main focus, as it is the single largest issue that plagues the

Smash community. Supermajors tend to be extremely expensive and resource-consuming, and AllSmash aims to aid this issue by providing a more accessible location and affordable venture with the removal of the main bracket fee. This allows for top players to shine solely based on their ability as a competitor.

These themes of accessibility and inclusivity are also reflected visually in this project. Through studies done within the local Smash Brothers community, I was able to gather insight as to how to improve already existing conventions within the world of tournament organization and design.

The Smash Brothers community in Auburn, that I involved myself in pretty heavily, was something I was very passionate about. I aimed to create graphics that solved some issues within the community, as well as facilitated excitement that I shared with the people around me attending these events.
